I probably wouldn’t use it again for anything besides personal things, which is a shame because it’s a good bit of engineering. It’s just too risky imo.

It exists in a weird space (imo): it only makes sense for large projects, but the larger the project the more people will struggle to onboard to it. Some just won’t at all.

I used it a while ago on a non-trivial e-commerce backend. I already understood fp concepts so it made sense to me and I liked building with it. But when I had to hand that project over to a new senior dev, who had no experience of fp, it was tough. Ended up rewriting it all into “traditional” js.
