I feel for you and I appreciate all you are doing. You are a better Democrat than me. I bailed on Missouri and moved to a blue state where it’s easy to be a Democrat. I support your fight financially. Nothing I would make me happier than to see Missouri blue.

Not that it couldn’t be done before. But it was way more cumbersome. And not that there are no backup copies of digital documents. It’s just easier to argue, to the non experts, that such backups are “fake” or “photoshopped” or otherwise altered to disagree with the propaganda of the current regime

Instead of an enduring record documenting centuries of thought, history, & science and how and why the ideas evolved and changed and the reasoning behind those changes. Records can be electronically changed to suit the current leadership.

Now simply “delete” or better yet change the text of any document that doesn’t have a hard copy archive and poof! New history. New scientific dogma as if the original never existed. Orwellian.

I was watching the Apple movie “fountain of youth” and upon seeing the walls of old books in the Viennese library I thought, “it’s so much easier now to alter history because everything is digital.” The only way to alter these books was to burn them. That’s exactly what the Fascists did.
