Totally agree, although Ricky can be a bit repetitive when he has an opinion of what the captain should do. There is a ‘grumpy old captain’ thread that runs through the comms box. I cannot listen to Mark Taylor at all.

Agreed, we can influence the society we live in by small gestures and basic good manners. I know it is triggering for some but really just smiling when my day is shite makes me feel better and strangers really do not care about the million of small curmudgeons I have had to deal with.

If you can find it try Australian series Utopia. It’s meant to be a comedy but public servants think it is very close to real life.
