Why is a UK newsgroup reporting this?? Why do I care about some relative of a wannabe dictator

But correct me if I'm wrong but if you live in a average price home, you are not in the realm of moving up the ladder enough to be at risk and if you are over the threshold, nor will you be downsizing to the average home price. And you'll simply stay put if you're near but not over the limit right?

Not sure its going to have a impact on the average wage worker(and below) trying to get on the property ladder. £2 million houses are a looonngggg way from being a eligible property for someone on £36,000

Aye, but its surely politically better to front load tax rises and cut taxes closer to the election, so not really a fair comparison is it?

Thanks for the reply, have a good day

In your opinion, What is the way out of this mire we are currently in? Obviously we've been cutting services for years now and still are stuck.

Im a little confused wasn't one of the issues with Lettuce Liz the fact she wanted to borrow to cut taxes? Im at wrong in thinking borrowing to invest is a better use of money? Also his analogy is pants would a better one be " cut owning a car and get the bus to work which makes you 15min late"

What the hell is happening to society

Comedy based on a negative stereotype, which is humorous in nature, but do you consider the majority of white people to be like this?? I hope not. The last thing needed atm is people of different cultural slurring each other with negative stereotypes as we're strong together against the tide of hate
November 18, 2025 at 9:02 PM
Ok, you were completely right
November 18, 2025 at 8:46 PM
What is "too white"?
November 18, 2025 at 8:38 PM
This is from years ago

Poor take

I'm guessing they wanted to use the figure to generate a headline, so purposely made it as clear as mud
November 2, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Are we sure that number doesn't include the buyback fee
November 2, 2025 at 6:44 PM
100% this, Labour aren't the reason tens of thousands of people feel emboldened to go to a Tommy ten names march, it's all linked to the disproportionate Reform coverage.

Also, what happens in 40 years' time when all these people want to retire with a state pension. Do we have to keep bringing more in to satisfy the state pension expense. Are we kicking the can down the road?

And now the "journalist " has blocked me. Absolute credit to his profession.

Exactly because all 2 million construction workers look, behave, and sound like these morons 🙄 . What a way to bring people along with you.

@implausibleblog.bsky.social I love your work and have followed you from X to here, but this is a bad take. F1 contributes to the UK a great deal in education, employment and revenue. It would be a great shame if a representative of the UK Gov wasn't there and she fits the criteria as a ideal rep.

Unable to unite over any single driving issue, willingly bought arms from a large allied partner so never planned for arms development seriously.

Imported technical IT services from large allied partner and never developed a strong home grown sector as should of.

That's changed now I'd imagine

OK, well how do we accurately reflect land value so farmers like yourself aren't punished? Is land value to high at thr moment due to IHT loop hole in your view?? I only ask as every farmer mentions how little they earn from the land
