First saw him in Sid & Nancy, but took notice of him in True Romance (memorable role) which could be one you are referring to since he was a crazed drug dealer. Added him to my favourite actors list after seeing him in The Professional (Léon). Corrupt DEA & drug dealer on the side in that one too.

During a recent discussion with an old friend, he asked me if I’d read Candide (satirical gem) in French. Nope, but revisiting now, dans sa langue originale. Have my English copy handy just in case, but annoyingly it’s like having subtitles on. Can’t help reading them even when I don’t need to. 🙄
