Idk about favorite, but when I think excellent kick-ass debut albums, 3 instantly spring to mind:

I have literally never called my representatives before, but this, and I say this with zero exaggeration, is a matter of life and death for me, as well as multiple other of your constituents. I apologize in advance - I may become emotional on this call. On September 8th, the Republicans on the House Appropriations committee released their spending bill for Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. SEC. 244. States "None of the funds made available by this Act may be used for any social, psychological, behavioral,or medical intervention performed for the purposes of intentionally changing the body of an individual (including by disrupting the body’s development, inhibiting its natural functions, or modifying its appearance) to no longer correspond to the individual’s biological sex." I am on Medicaid/ OHP, along with numerous other of your constituents. If this language becomes law, it will prohibit taxpayer dollars going to any type of gender-affirming care for transgender people. This Hyde Amendment style move will effectively eliminate our access to this life-saving medical care. I'm calling you today because my life is literally on the line. I'm calling to beg you not just to vote no on any bill containing this language, but also to beg you to use any favors, tricks, trades, etc you have at your disposal to block any bill containing all of this bigoted & life-threatening language. Failing that, I beg you to do everything in your power to get these provisions removed. Gender-affirming care paid for by Medicaid has not just saved my life, but it has given me a life worth living for the first time in my life. I beg you, as a constituent, as a voter, and as a human being, please don't take this life-saving medication away from me.
