I think it makes more sense to follow people based on the content they share, not how many followers or followings they have.

I mostly post about travel and using Bsky for growth and storytelling.

If that resonates, great! If not, that’s okay too. 🙂

Totally agree, those towns leave such a lasting impression.

I may not be able to break down how Bsky works under the hood, that’s for the engineers.

But I care more about what happens above the hood: how people behave here, how attention flows, and how to build something meaningful with it.

Thank you so much, Baz.

This was such a thoughtful comment.

You’ve painted a journey through history with just your words.

I really hope you get to see the Colosseum someday.

It’ll speak to you, I’m sure of it.

Thank you! I give full credit to the ancient Romans and my husband’s steady hands. 🙂

That means so much, Bret. Thank you!

So glad to be back in this cozy corner of the internet. 🙂

Ah, the mystery photographer?

That would be my husband aka my unpaid content assistant with great timing and zero complaints (most of the time).

Much appreciated! Long live the Empire. 😄

I took this photo at the Colosseum right after realizing I hadn't posted on Bsky in 4 months.

Not because I disappeared, and definitely not because I ran out of things to say...

(Tap the image & read the alt text to find out...)
I've actually been here the whole time... just in a different way.

Behind the scenes, I've been helping others build their voice on this platform.

Refining how they show up, how they connect, how they stand out in all the noise and how they generate attention and grow.

It's been meaningful, creative, and honestly kind of addictive.

But somewhere along the way, I stopped showing up for myself.

Standing in front of the Colosseum brought something up for me.

This thing has lasted thousands of years, not because it shouted the loudest, but because it stood with presence and intention.

That hit me.

I don't need to post often or loudly, but when I do, it'll be deeply me.

So here I am.

Back, and glad to be.

You’re not just restoring a house, you’re restoring a part of your life story. And that’s really beautiful. 🙂

This looks like pure happiness behind glass. I’d have a hard time picking just one flavor... 🙂

You’re entitled to your opinion. But attempting to discredit me without any real evidence crosses the line into slander.

As a lawyer, I take my work seriously and will defend it. I believe in what I do and have nothing to hide.

If receiving a DM upsets you this much, perhaps it's worth reflecting on why and maybe even speaking to a professional if it affects you this deeply.

I understand that you don’t like my content, and that’s completely fine.

Before you start attacking others, ask yourself: how are you contributing to this community?

What value are you offering for free, instead of criticizing others about something you clearly don’t understand, like what a sales pitch actually is?

(5/5)
legalwanderer.com
For the record, the help I offer in my DMs is completely free.

I’ve also built tools for Bluesky to support the community and regularly share valuable insights without asking for anything in return.

Also, who are you to discredit someone else's work while hiding behind a generic avatar and an empty profile?

That comes across as cowardly.

Second, you have no idea what the open rate of my DMs is, so it’s bold to claim they get ignored.

In fact, you didn’t ignore it, you reacted to it emotionally.

Getting angry over a DM is, frankly, childish.

Hi, first of all, my DM wasn't a sales pitch, it was a question.

It also included several pieces of useful information that you could have taken advantage of if you were open minded.

If you try to promote your product or service the same way you would on other platforms, you’ll likely face backlash, or at best, be ignored.

I'll message you directly with specific feedback on your profile and suggestions for improvement.

Bluesky has an anti-hustle, left-leaning, democratic vibe.

Over 50% of its users are from the U.S., and the platform leans strongly anti-corporate, anti-big tech, and anti-salesy.

Glad it resonated with you!

Posting screenshots of private messages publicly doesn’t really serve a constructive purpose.

It comes across more as an attempt to discredit someone or seek attention.

That said, I truly wish you a wonderful rest of your day.

So it seems a bit odd to criticize others while contributing very little yourself.

The DM I sent was meant to be helpful. If it wasn’t, feel free to ignore it, no hard feelings.
