So, I wonder... is Max Dettweiler from THE SOUND OF MUSIC supposed to be straight? I mean, he comes off as gay as fuck, is unmarried, sees sexy Elsa more as a buddy than as an attractive woman, and he seems to be the gay sidekick of Captain von Trapp, but maybe this is just my filthy mind. 🙄

I never understood why the movie version of SOUND OF MUSIC included the shitty Richard Rodgers solo songs I HAVE CONFIDENCE and SOMETHING GOOD while leaving out the great Max and Elsa numbers HOW CAN LOVE SURVIVE and NO WAY TO STOP IT that are a really great contrast to the kiddie kitsch. 🎶🙄

Watching the ITV Production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC from 2015. Overall I like it, but the actress playing Maria is quite pitchy, and so are some of the children. The actress playing Liesel is a good singer but weirdly unattractice. Wasn't Liesel supposed to be pretty? However, Max and Elsa are awesome

Dieses dämliche Geböller muss wirklich mal aufhören. Abgesehen davon, was es mit den Hunden macht, ist es auch einfach eine unnötige Luftverschmutzung, die kein Mensch braucht. Und wenn ich höre, dass bei dem Quatsch Menschen verletzt oder getötet werden... Ich bin für Feuerwerksverbot, absolut. 😑

I don't know... the relationship between Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper seems quite toxic to me. It is this typical introvert/extrovert combo with the extrovert thinking he is the shit but in fact he is not. Anderson should kick Andys ass, he is better than that, and Andy is not a good influence. 😑

Jacques Offenbach wrote DIE SCHÖNE HELENA in 1864, and it is a clever, well constructed operetta with intelligent lyrics that are never pretentious. How sad it is to compare this fine art with the hyped up trash of the latest Broadway crap. Mankind is evolving backwards, it seems. 😑

Compared to the dumbness of some international musicals (WICKED, I am looking at you!), some old-fashioned operettas have more substance, intelligence and irony than anything from a Broadway stage. Jacques Offenbach was really smart. He critiques society, but with simple and cool tunes. Love it. 🎶😀

DIE SCHÖNE HELENA in der Frankfurter VOLKSBÜHNE (Operette von Jacques Offenbac) war sehr gut gestern. In dem Stück geht es, insbesondere im 3. Akt, um den Verfall der Sitten im alten Griechenland. Diesen muss ich auch in Frankfurt beklagen, denn mir hat im Getümmel jemand an den Hintern gegriffen.😮

The 2 songs penned by Richard Rodgers solo on SOUND OF MUSIC were written especially for the movie, and I dislike both of them. I HAVE CONFIDENCE has too many stops and tempo changes, and the lyrics are weird. SOMETHING GOOD is atrocious. Also, the lyrics are the worst part. Rodgers was no lyricist.

What strikes me about the Epstein files is that most of these pigs are family men with children of their own. You would think a pedophile is some unmarried weirdo in a basement, but these are rich men living with their ever so happy family under privileged circumstances. The hypocrisy is disgusting
