Lead Director of VRChat short film “S.Y.N.C.”/Open To Chat/Lover of VRC Films / (He/Him) / Heart of ambition that’s WAY bigger than my playspace / Martial Arts!
TTK (Time To Kill) is a big factor to consider when figuring out the pacing of a fight (which is also prevalent in FPS and fighting games).
How long should an encounter last until said opponent is no longer able to retaliate?

Because if the sense is defend MC2 with a gun, the problem isn’t solved.

It all comes down to what I make an AudioScript for. If we’re making something that has a clear and defined setting, it’s more fit for a film meet rather than our usual Choreo meets.

Things that require dedicated scripts meant for it which is where another dilemma comes in.

Although, my main gripe with guns is that it leads to a lot of “staircase” Choreo where everybody only gets one or rarely two to four references, making it vastly easy for everyone else. A lack of challenge does not make for an entertaining choreography.

It’s a downside of guns to me in Choreo.

I really liked the stuff in the 2nd John Wick movie. Will have to give Equilibrium a look though.

Glad you like it! You have a good eye!

The sounds are actually all in-world. It’s a really cool PCVR game world for 4v4 tactical PvP. All the sounds (minus the half slide rack and the bullets being put in the mag) come directly from the world.

It’s called Tactical Breach

For us, it’s incredibly easy and we could definitely figure it out. This is just an impromptu short we made for fun.

We’ve been practicing and excelling with VRChat’s latency for almost 2 years and can make any fight scene we can imagine in minutes instead of hours.

Gestures and input are registered faster in VRChat before kinetic motions when interpreted via other users.

For example:
If you quick draw from the hip, there’s a very high chance everyone else just saw you fire a round into your own foot if you did it too fast.
(It’s hard to learn the timing)
