The option is intended to allow creators to charge for enhancements. An example would be the option to buy a pack of seeds in a harvesting game rather than having to wait to harvest them. People can choose to spend their V-Bucks if they want to, but the game will still be playable if they don't.

I’ve been addicted to #MarvelStrikeForce for about 6 years now. It is free to play (pay to win?), but just something about a Marvel turn based RPG makes me happy.
