YES it felt like the author was balancing really delicately between disability rep but understandably not wanting to make that their whole story and in doing so, the uniqueness that the story was based off got lost a little

That's the other thing too, mainstream pregnancy books never have any real drama lol it's just calmly discuss an abortion in calm equitable tones, decide not to get one, he treats her really nicely the whole time, baby is born, happy family time!

Omg another one!! I was so thrilled for the premise but I felt like their disabilities were not really explored that much outside of her summer camp idea... they discuss them briefly but other than that it's just the usual he's clearly in love and she's like oh no I can't be falling for him!! BOO

Lol my issue was kind of shallow, I just don't love the sanitized nice man heroes in pregnancy plot books. Like I really did not like out on a limb at all for the same reason but I know people love that one
