26. Jet Lag: The Game (TV, season 16: Hide + Seek UK)

Another fun installment of the series. While I never grow tired of watching this series, I agree that they have gotten too good at seeking and made it rather formulaic. I hope they balance this more soon. Eventually I want to play the home-game.

25. Helluva Boss (TV, season 1)

Set in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel. Very enjoyable watch. Felt a lot more episodic in nature, with an overarching story only just developing. Very interested in more. I love the humor, but they also dove into more emotional themes. Really great!

Thank you so much for your inquiry. I don't take commissions.

not really, lol. I was debating on whether to include this, but since they have a section in the Wikipedia article and are webcomics, I decided to include it. Other small pieces of media I don't include, like short films on YouTube, the rationale being that I don't want to review all YT-videos, lol

23. Chapter 1: Dirty Healings (webcomic, Hazbin Hotel) & 24. A Day in the After Life/The Radio Demon (webcomic, Hazbin Hotel)

Very short canon webcomics detailing the stories of two characters before the events of Hazbin Hotel. Informative. Interesting that they are not on the website anymore.

22. Hazbin Hotel (TV, season 2)

This was still very good. But had a lull during the middle. The first season was profiting from really good world-building, which slowed down in the second season to make way for the plot. I'm still very much looking forward to the rest!

21. Hazbin Hotel (TV, season 1)

Why didn't anybody tell me this is a musical‽ This was incredible!! The plot was great, the characters well-built, and the humor was top!! I really really enjoyed this. Looking forward to the spin-off and the next season! So far, I've enjoyed watching popular series.

20. Smiling Friends (TV, season 1)

Very short, but very funny. I had heard about this a lot, so I finally checked it out, and it's very good. Nice light entertainment, will definitely keep watching.

19. Rick and Morty: The Anime (anime)

I would definitely say that I enjoyed this. It was a bit confusing, and I'm not sure if the plot makes a lot of sense, but it had good moments, while noticeably lacking in humor. The anime short films that came before were mostly better. But I still liked it.

18. Scav (TV)

It was a fun watch about a fun event. I think I would absolutely enjoy these types of shenanigans, but, and the series makes this really clear, it must be so intensely exhausting, with participants running on fumes and no sleep. Looks like they'll document more years, and I'm down.

17. Blade Runner (The Final Cut, film)

Holy shit. It started incredibly atmospheric and cinematic and managed to not only maintain, but to carry this feeling into an epic climax. The score was fantastic throughout. A minor setback was the rushed, forced romance. In all, even better than its hype!!

16. The Royal Tenenbaums (film)

I was suggested to try Wes Anderson. I paid a lot of attention to the marvellous framing and colouring of the film. It really felt like watching a story told through life-like paintings. Incredible experience! I did enjoy the story, but less so than the presentation.

15. Being John Malkovich (film)

One of the best films I've ever seen. The plot is incredible and so amazingly filmed. In the first scene being JM I immediately got dysphoria, so I understood Lotte, and I am disappointed they didn't develop that story further. But apart from that, just incredible!

14. Rick and Morty (TV, season 8)

It's just a lot of fun. Very episodic series, as opposed to the last few seasons, which felt very fresh. I really enjoyed my time. "Rick and Morty forever and forever 100 years."

13. Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori (film)

As today marked the release of the 3.0.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I thought it would be fitting to watch the AC-film. I really liked watching it, the visuals were great, the atmosphere was just like playing the games, and the story was cute.

12. Dracula's Ex-Girlfriend (film)

I watched this 32min film because it's by Philosophy Tube. There was some bad acting and uninspired cinematography in it, but there were also more than enough great scenes to make up for it. The arguments were really well done, and really made me feel. I liked it!

11. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (film)

I watched this together with internet-friends, and I enjoyed it a lot. It's the host's favourite film, and while I wouldn't go that far, I do have a soft spot for enthralling epics. Shows me not to judge a film by its name and poster alone.

10. Nyoro-n Churuya-san (ONA)

Another Haruhi-spin-off. Thankfully this was very very short. But the joke just seemed to be "Smoked Cheese" in all 13 tiny 2 minute episodes. It was kinda cute, and watchable, but the Haruhi-chan ONA was a lot better.

9. No Longer Allowed in Another World (anime)

Only the first season is currently out. It's partially a nice reconstruction of the Isekai-genre, getting a lot of humor out of that, but also reveals a more cogent, less shallow plot later. I enjoyed it, and am looking forward to more seasons to come.

8. The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya (ONA)

Pretty short collection of official parody animations. It was unexpectedly funny. I generally enjoyed it and laughed a bunch.

7. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (film)

I was completely blown away by this film. The plot is amazing, the animation is very fluid and beautiful. And the emotional climax made me cry. An awesome finale to the story of Haruhi Suzumiya. Definitely going to check out the spin-offs!

6. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (anime)

I absolutely loved this anime. I watched the first season in Kyon-order, and then both seasons in chronological order, thus watching season 1 twice. I went a little insane during Endless Eight. Overwhelmingly a great experience. Looking forward to more!!

5. Wicked: For Good (film)

I did not see the stage play (yet), so the story is entirely new to me, and so I cannot tell how far they strayed from the source. I liked the plot, it was fun, the songs were nice. It feels like they could have cut it into one film. But in general, I enjoyed watching it.

4. Zootopia 2 (film)

I remember liking the first one. It had fun world-building propping up an uninspired plot. This film expands on the world-building with mostly the same plot. But the jokes are good and I mostly enjoyed it.
