My other favorite is black tourmaline because it is piezoelectric and pyroelectric, changing the actual scientific nature of the world.

I like that quartz comes in basically every color (not the fale stuff but if you include jaspers and agates) and that all kinds of different parts of the Earth's story are shown when there are inclusions or other specifics. Lol thanks I could probably write an essay on quartz.

My favorite is quartz because it's so varied. A fact I always like is that chalcedony and jasper are also quartz, the main difference between the two of them and agate is that agate is banded. Jasper just has more mineral content that makes the colors so bright.
