The Botanical Garden & Parque Laje are great spots for nature. Downtown area (including Arcos da Lapa & Escadaria Selarón) has lots of interesting and beautiful historical buildings from the time Rio was the capital of Brazil. Santa Tereza is a vibrant neighborhood, don't miss it.

Mureta da Urca for a sunset is a must! There is a bar at the end of if where you can grab a drink and a snack.
