It was also extra-sweet because I've been feeling absolutely wrecked by a cancer med dosage increase and had just decided it wasn't workable, so it felt like the cats knew I needed extra comforting. I wasn't ever a cat person before about 5 years ago, and now they're my favorite things ever.

In between I also had a family visit cut short due to Covid, which I thankfully didn't get myself. So just fyi, there's still a lot of Covid around - if you weren't already, please take precautions, as the potential long-term effects can be lasting.

And I sincerely appreciate the cause to smile today, amidst all the things both collective and personal that were not that.
