So lwj gets to see places he wouldn't feel comfortable at alone and wwx is just delighted by his cute but still awesome dragon bf and wants to take him everywhere!

I mean... you could put your boyfriend in your hoodie pocket to the cinema and only pay for one person.
Or say lwj wants to see an art exhibition but there are too many people... he could stay on wwx's shoulder. "Hey that's my emotional support dragon I need him in crowded places!"

His clan attributes it to his mother who was human or sth.
Well lwj never dated (the clan elders would only approve of a pure blood dragon for him anyway) and never had interest in others.
Until he meets foxxian.and when wwx finally sees lwj's dragon form he's delighted.
