Ok, wait this one I don't get. I had a '94 Ranger with a governor that killed the engine at 85mph. The technology has been around forever.
Not sure I'm sold on the whole idea yet, but this argument doesn't hold water.

You're right, but, you know, I'll take the premise of "people who lived through the same world events have similar tendencies" over the Corporate Astrology: Meyers-Brigg, Personality Indices, or whatever nonsense they come up with next.

So, years ago, IEEE Spectrum connected two chatbots and one of them said
"I am not a chatbot; I am a unicorn!"
And I need this phrase to become common parlance when talking about this sort of AI aburdity.

Part of how disturbing this is, is how isolated it reveals him to be.
A newborn IS overwhelming, but when our kids were born, my parents helped, my inlaws came down, my church family and neighbors brought food...
