I had to put my foot like this to stop dude next to me from leg-spreading fully into my zone. Leg spreaders = Straight to jail!!

Moving into a new place in the middle of nowhere I've had to do an Amazon haul just to get necessities. Kinda hate that. But grateful it's an option at least?

To prep for my cat’s first 12-hr car ride, I bought 5 carriers—from medium to enormous. One was so big my 70lb dog fit inside. I assumed she’d want options, space, and luxury.
Last minute, I grabbed a tiny, cheap Petsmart carrier “just in case.” And it’s the only one she wants. Cats be like that. 🫠😆

Politics these days seems to be about more than just left vs. right—but also reason vs. tribalism. I’m very progressive, but when ideas become sacred and questioning = betrayal, I think we’re in trouble. If we can’t question our own team, we aren’t thinking, we’re worshiping.

I hate Elon as much as anyone, but I shouldn’t have to fear for my safety while driving around my Tesla (that I got 6 years ago) or be verbally accosted while I’m out and about. It’s already happened & is getting worse. Stop attacking folks who happened to buy an environmentally responsible car!

What's the opposite of trying to gain your social media following called? Because that's what I've been doing. Just kicking off Insta followers left and right. I wanna go back to simple friends feeds, ya know?

I feel like this is the first time it’s snowed all winter. Utahs so dry lately! I wish it was like this all winter long.

I've been a Salt Lake'er for more than 30 years, and learned every nook/cranny and secret to finding cool shit to do over time. How does one start that over in Seattle? Looking for tips. Are zines still a thing?

When you keep losing fingernail clippers, so you buy a new pair, remember... those lost ones are SOMEWHERE, and one day, as you clean out your entire house, you will end up with... this. Now what do I do with 10+ pairs?

Just sent a whole truckload of STUFF to the dump. Old buckets, old tomato cages, crappy old decor, random PVC pipes and remnants from old projects... basically junk drawer (but larger) things that were just cluttering up space everywhere. NOTHING IS MORE SATISFYING THAN GETTING RID OF CRAP!

I get an oversized sized amount of joy in the fact that I can eat as many pickles as I want with out eating a single calorie.

Normalize supporting employees at companies run by monsters (like Elon) who make great products. Boycotts hurt workers, not CEOs, who’ll just fire them before making a single personal sacrifice. I'd like people to keep their jobs.

But I really do need this sticker for my car.

A while back, I bought this tiny handmade magic wand from a local artist. But every time I look at it, I think it’s just a pretzel stick. And it makes me want to eat it. It has the magical power of making me need snacks.
