I don’t want to hear a single Republican politician talk about their faith or their Christianity ever again. Removing access to healthcare and food for the needy/less fortunate/elderly is the least Christian thing I have ever seen. They can spare me their performative bullshit

It would be really great if the executive branch had any adults in the room or any actually qualified people right about now

What’s happening right now is what happens when two people demand absolute loyalty while offering none 🍿

If you call yourself a Christian and are against people comfortably living their lives, are celebrating folks being thrown in foreign concentration camps, feel good about cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, you’re really just a fucking monster.

Here’s one problem with society. I, as an atheist, would fully fight for you to practice whatever religion lights up your heart. But others seem to think they can hold me to the imaginary standards set by their religion while they ignore the actual rules. Gives me a fucking headache

There is no pain that the current White House occupants will not apply to the less fortunate to help the poor, downtrodden super wealthy. They want to cut Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, social security so that people that already pay a shockingly low portion of their wealth in taxes can pay less.

It’s been true for a while but the Republican Party is straight reverse Robin Hood. They’re falling all over themselves to make life easier for folks that already had the decks stacked in their favor. Make it make sense.

The multiple felon has a criminal agenda? This is my shocked face :|
If he cannot carry out his agenda without breaking our laws, violating our Constitution, ignoring the judiciary, alienating our allies and crashing the economy…

It’s a criminal agenda.

Who the fuck cares about Columbus Day? Some folks just don’t need to be celebrated. Christopher Columbus is one.
We’re in a constitutional crisis, the markets are tanking, unemployment is on the rise, his tariff extortions are a disaster, a nasty recession looms on the horizon, and he’s polling lower than salmonella…

…so naturally, he thinks it’s time to glam up Columbus Day.

4000% this. Rich people will never be rich enough to be happy. They are vapid, empty, and terminally greedy. They buy media to convince you to mad at ‘the freeloaders’ when those folks don’t get enough of the budget to even notice. The US spends so much energy being mad at the wrong folks.p

I don’t know who needs to hear this but disliking the results of an election is not the same as “this election was stolen.” Most of you that think it is the same started feeling this way because you follow a petulant child that loses all the time and hates it.

If you need proof that gaslighting works look at how many in the US still think we are the greatest country in the world despite crippling healthcare costs and huge corporations that routinely cut staff to enhance profits, not because they are losing money so rich folks get a better ROI.

According to MAGA, if you hit a car with a baseball bat because you don’t like the company’s owner you’re a “terrorist”, but if you hit a Capitol police officer with a baseball bat because you don’t like the results of an election, you’re a “patriot.”

Do I have that just about right?
