We used to podcast about conventions (@konichyeehaw) and I don't wanna sound old, but I think a big change is the target audience. The last couple cons I've gone to have barely had figures, but an abundance of funkos. No more rave/idol gear, but cheap shirts and 3D printed fidgets. It really sucks

I would love to see that. My spouse and I have been going to conventions for 10+ years and have talked about the shift in culture. It would be interesting to see that from an artist/vendor's perspective

It's funny you say this, because like a month ago I had sleep paralysis and woke up by punching the lamp
