Yeah both interface types have their benefits. GUIs generally have superior discoverablity, but TUIs can be faster if you know how to use it already, and make automation trivial.

Wonder how much of this in influenced by Denver's topology. Dallas is in a plain and can basically sprawl forever and build highways where ever it feels like.
