True, but Windows also does fun little surprises like nobody's printer working for a week sometimes. All OSes suck, it's just a matter of which leaves you least inclined to throw your computer out a window.

Probably wouldn't have looked quite like the promo nonsense, and agreed - convincing that many people to move in willingly would be quite a feat.
I was expecting something in the same shape (maybe a different size) that didn't deliver on any of its promises, but avoided bruising MBS' ego too much.

I'm hopeful they keep the subscription to AI features, but only time will tell.

Quality and accessibility. IMO anything free offered by a for-profit is perpetually one meeting away from a rug-pull. Doesn't mean I won't use it, but I don't feel comfortable relying on it.

The bit about a free tool is valid - as an owner of a V2 licence, I am rather concerned about the continued quality of V3 - but the rest is nonsense.

It won't help with creating the site, but DigitalOcean gives you two or three static sites for free.

Honestly, I believed they could do it, simply by virtue of being able/willing to throw enough money and human suffering at it to make it happen. Doesn't mean I didn't think it was a stupid idea.
