As someone from the south who grew up deep in the red camp… most absolutely voted the GOP in for genital and culture wars. Them voting to make humans illegal is the main talking point I have to confront around their tables.

I’m afraid because I grew up as one of them. I was taken to their conferences and was indoctrinated with their rhetoric. The outside world that held me as I deconstructed is turning into the legalistic prison I fled. It’s a strange twist of fate. But I’m a fighter.
