I do not understand why newly built houses or commercial warehouses are not equipped with solar. In other European countries it's a requirement for warehouses now. Most buildings may not run fully off solar, but it reduces reliance on the grid, thus reducing fossil fuel requirements.

Interesting as they are currently trying to build a new factory in Germany and there have been ongoing protests. About a year ago and as as recently as a week or so ago, environmentalists set fire to plant equipment.

Has this fella ever been to Spain? 2000 wolves in the North (at least), 300 odd bears, Lynx. And they still manage to have excellent lamb & cheese with enough pork left over to export chorizo. I'd say their food production is quite balanced still.

And across the country people also planted trees, such as Leylandii, near power lines and let them grow & grow.

I get why people are leaving Twitter, but as far as I can see this platform is really only popular in the English speaking world. If you follow accounts/news in other languages this place doesn't cut it yet.
