This week I bullied a local bully, someone smashed the neighborhood cat and left him to rot, we removed it; a white woman (80ish) in the market told a young black woman “she looks like a great cook,” a teachable moment so I told her that was absolutely offensive AF!!! Be better y’all, I’m watching.

Happy FridayConfessions! I have had such a spiritually blessed week. A little advice-we get sullied by life’s experiences over time but try to wake up everyday with the desire to see the world through an innocent spirit like the through eyes of a child. Children never show up expecting the worst.

I am assuming the universe rewarded me for my diligence in planting a butterfly and hummingbird garden with this spectacular display. Beauty and color unmatched. #butterfly

Spending hundreds on my flower garden as therapy has proved highly rewarding. So, my advice to you, grab your partners credit card and hit the nurseries (don’t forget the hummingbird feeder) so if the world implodes you’ll find us amongst Butterfly Hydrangeas Foxglove & Canterbury bells (not shown).

A part of me wants to revisit the memories my iPhone displays but when it reminds me of my loss, like my latest, chocolate baby boy Pitt bull, Biggie, I weep uncontrollably. It’s hard to remember him, and devastating to think one day the memories will fade.

In a sentimental mood, like Coltrane & Ellington. I can imagine how parents feel when their kids leave the home. I have lost two k9 children since living in here, now my home & backyard and are a lot less joyful. I miss them deeply. 💜💜
