I just came across this editing book 3. If there is a single sentence in my books that could embody what I write about, this would probably be it:

Over halfway through my final edit of book 3. I’m exploring some spinoffs as well, to offer something that doesn’t require new readers to go through this whole series. Which may not be too much of a concern for book 3, but as this goes on, it’s going to be necessary.

After more than a week of formatting struggles, I think I’m finally nearing the end of it all. I can actually breathe. Well, at least regarding this. Can someone please tell the US to calm down? I’d like to not have to wait 4 years to visit my American girlfriend again

Just spending my day writing name pronunciations for 42 characters because one reader once mentioned they appreciated me doing this for my last book, when I only had 9 named characters.
Can’t wait to see what this glossary is going to look like at the end of the series with all my 700+ characters.

When I mentioned the Gulf of Mexico in my upcoming book, I was so sure that would be one of the least controversial things happening in the story.

One thing that’s becoming abundantly clear: reality doesn't conform to the standards of realism by which we judge fiction.
It’s pretty frustrating. Some of us meticulously sculpt stories to make them seem believable. Reality doesn’t give a shit, and for some reason, we all buy it anyway.

All I’ll say: it’s fucking fun. There’s so much to this story, it hits so many serious and difficult topics, but the main thing is that it’s just fun. My face hurts from the constant smile I have on my face
