Attended the African heritage month opening ceremony yesterday. It was my first experience witnessing an imbibement ceremony. I am constantly amazed and grateful to be able to learn with and from such strong and hopeful people.

We had our first GSA meeting of the year today, doing this at community college, where folks have obligations, study stress and other factors means that our group is small. But oh man, when a room full of queers is comes together, magic happens
