fantastic as advertised. i hold off on the more artsy movies because they do go darker places and i'm not up for someone else's trauma or loss, but Carol wasn't as difficult as expected. it was beautiful

tonight's movie was Last ExMas. it's a good one--add it to your list. very silly and slightly toxic, but that's on theme

it's not *amazing* but it is cozy and feels like it was actually written by queer folks. the bar is low for holigay movies

you've mentioned Swarens ones (🫶🏻 Looking for Her) but there's some other decent ones. Friends and Family Christmas was a better one. Sometimes the writing is good but there's just no chemistry (RIP Jenny's Wedding). I keep putting of Carol for reasons, but I think that's next on my list
