It’s an exciting half-day event packed with a dense program and engaging poster sessions from #AichiSR users. This symposium holds special significance as it’s my last one as Deputy Director of the NUSR Center.

Wrapping up JSR2025 in Tsukuba with some fantastic talks and an unforgettable conference dinner! 🌟 Yesterday’s roundtable on the future of synchrotrons in Japan, was incredibly insightful.
Excited to take these insights back to Nagoya University and continue pushing the boundaries of research.

Day 2 at #JSR2025 Tsukuba was truly inspiring! 🌟 Yesterday’s award-winning talks included one that closely resembled a recent PhD student review I conducted—thrilled to see similar innovative research being recognized.

Starting 2025 strong at Nagoya. This January, we’re focusing on restarting the beamline, preparing our students for graduation, and finalizing our projects at NUSR. It’s a busy but exciting time, and I’m thrilled to work with such a dedicated team. Here’s to a year of breakthroughs and achievements!

Day 2 at BINDS in a very cold Tokyo! The scientific energy more than makes up for the chill—today’s sessions on synchrotron radiation and advanced protein structure analysis are inspiring. Hoping to spark new collaborations through the in vivo crystallization platform!

So far, the highlights include new insights in drug discovery and impressive synergy of synchrotron radiation + cryoEM. I’m excited our in vivo crystallization platform made it into the discussion—can’t wait to see where this takes us!
