Living a nomad life with my beautiful family.

Deep into AI.
Recently started spending more time working outside. Living in a sunny place, it’s almost impossible to use a laptop outdoors.

I’ve been using these Xreal One glasses - like portable monitors, not VR. They look a bit odd on calls, but honestly, it’s working really well for me.

Rust complexity is fixed by Sonnet 3.7, and to be frank I'm quite amazed with the quality of Rust tooling and how AI ready it is - and thats where a lot of languages should learn from it.

All the compiler errors are super descriptive, and actionable - exactly what AI needs.

Seriously, I do not know how Cusor, Windsurf, Lovable and other AI products survive. It feels like a 🔥💸.

I reached $800/m in costs for Claude 3.5, while using it with Cline (e.g. bring your own API token).

And it is with prompt caching!

Thats active daily agentic work.

A perfect showcase of what O1 and DeepSeek R1's reasoning process looks like

Here is the prompt for O1/Pro which will make your content look amazing and humane. Thank me later.

In 3 weeks, I've created more content than the whole last year. Been experimenting with AI tools & writing myself - both automated & human-augmented. Spotted lots of patterns in AI-generated text & built a tool to fine-tune it. Want to help me debug? Just drop message to thread.

At some point, early in my adult life, I could probably tick all of those boxes. Then I met my wife, had kids, and it actually helped me become way more organized, find ballance in life. Also ADHD has a lot of super powers like using hyperfocus on-demand.

Keep code simple. High complexity is extra confusion. Avoid too many layers, fancy patterns, and shallow modules. Focus on clarity, deep modules with simple interfaces, and reduce extraneous complexity to keep your team sane and productive.

I hope to age like Goku: whenever I feel I’ve reached my limit, I’ll simply unlock another “super” form 😇

My new favorite prompting trick to create a nicely looking design using AI, and it works so well with Tailwind and Sonnet 3.5: "Make it look in neobrutalist style".

It is not perfect, but defo not "boring".

This is what I used to learn programming 25 years ago — Subor, essentially an NES clone with a keyboard and a GBASIC cartridge. You could even write basic Mario-like games. It didn’t have any memory, so every time you turned it off, you had to start everything from scratch.

Check out this beast of a cloud native architecture diagram for Tyk API Gateway! Show it to your infrastructure team and watch them get mesmerized, literally touching the screen for minutes!
