This Earache comp opened a lot of musical doors in the same way Grindcrusher had a couple of years earlier.
Lo Flux Tube would have been my go to album of theirs then but this is also great. I missed the bus on the Formula album as I only managed to get it years after it was released.

I think I saw Manic Street Preachers in the Forum as well, its all a mush now, it was definitely in that building somewhere

I missed the bus on Neurosis with that one. Noel posted me a tape in Australia a couple of years later so I could discover them. I was still listening to loads of death doom and suchlike at the time.

The Village, this was downstairs in Sir Henry's. Did it become the forum at some stage or has my brain confused somewhere else.

Even PitchShifter back in 94 tore the place a new one even if their 91 show was the absolute stuff of leg-end for me and Noel. Gutted I didn't get to see Neurosis in 94 I think it was.

I have no idea, the gigs in The Forum in Cork back then were legendary even if a lot of it went wasn't really my bag at the time. I remember Alice Donut, Mercury Rev, Leatherface, Headbutt, maybe Afghan Whigs and loads of others in the early 90's.
