yes!! it feels cheap. also they literally say "this will be a neon genesis". hehe. just silly. visuals during giant rei were v cool. but end of evang and 25/26 viewed as happening concurrently is just too succinct of an ending for me. and its a v hopeful ending presented very bleakly which is dope
