Finally got around to finishing Volume 1. Next up, Volume 2. James Fell has a great writing style and the day-by-day entries make it easy to set it down and come back whenever.

What's your opinion on this theory that Schumer MAY have done the right thing by voting for the CR? That Tangerine would prefer the shutdown because it would have allowed to him to force everything through without any opposition from the judicial branch. Were we doomed either way the dems voted?
