This is why I'm now for term limits in SCOTUS. One replaced every 2 years, making an 18 year maximum term.
I'd rather have it 3 years, but that would be complicated with changes in presidency.
Still, I'd be ok with any variation except what we have now.

I've known some people in local politics who had career ending shameful situations. They were uniformly dropped like a hot rock. Anyone who stayed friends with Epstein was less concerned about politics than what he could offer.

I think we read it in economics class, minus the title or author. We all thought it seemed like a lot of good ideas. Then it was pointed out who wrote it, what it meant, and what it became. It was a great lesson in critical thinking.

Jesus. We old Xers really are feral, and it's clear why. I'd have thought i was the only CHILD "allowed" to read the book and watch the movie. "Allowed" because my parents would have had no idea what I was reading.

I don't know you or your dad, but man I hope he can be helped. My mom outlived most, making it about 18 months from diagnosis.
