Anne with an E - Season 1 (2017, Netflix Series)

A very strong interpretation of a classic showing exactly how great remakes can be when they’re not just a mindless slop of nostalgia. Amybeth McNulty gives a remarkably strong performance and she should be a far more known name in acting.

Alone in the Dark (2008, Wii Game)

We're someone who defends the infamous HD version of Alone in the Dark a lot, but this version is much harder to defend. Horrible controls, bad direction and largely pointless combat makes for a game that's as bad as its HD sibling's reputation.

Dexter: Original Sin - Series (2024, TV Series)

Original Sin is a solid show that shines when it's not doing every forced prequel trope there is. If something was mentioned in the early seasons of Dexter, it's set up here. Still, a fun watch and the casting is great. Shame it was cancelled.

Alone in the Dark (2008) for Wii/PS2 is honestly not as bad as we remember, but it’s still bad. As a staunch defender of the maligned HD version, this version is much harder to defend.

However, we do like all the additional dialogue and scenes the extended cast gets.
