Good chatting with you Bryan. We’ll have to catch up at the session, maybe during one of the press briefings. You can hang with the rest of us who don’t have a press pass. ❤️

Go ahead decide whether you feel it’s “proof” enough that I literally watched you report false information about events I was personally at. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the foresight to take photos to dispute your inaccurate reporting so no proof that way

I never offered to give you definitive proof. You asked for the info I personally know & I gave it to you. Go back to reporting just all the facts instead of always having the sole goal be producing smear articles. People would respect your work more

I’m not your secretary

Another, everyone knew that the restrictions in the back halls were due to a reporter spying at the closed office doors of legislators and then leaking private conversations. You reported they were just trying to keep Utahns in the dark & if you say you didn’t know that, you’re a terrible reporter

Why would I have said it here when it was in response to a comment on Twitter? 🙄 I’d happily have said to you there but you were too stressed to stay.

Off the top of my head, I’ve been to numerous Republican events that were well attended but oddly, you reported that barely anyone was there.

You’d think it’d make you reevaluate how you engage with others when Redditors, ones who are consistently left leaning & loathe the legislature, are saying they don’t blame them for denying you a pass. This is a you problem, not an independent media problem.

Independent media isn’t in jeopardy of not having access. *You’re* in jeopardy. Because you’re not interested in reporting all facts, just your narrative. A politician is under no obligation to give time to someone notorious for twisting things solely for the purpose of writing a negative article.

I’m not defending Schultz. He’s capable of defending himself just fine. I’m being critical that you’re knowingly painting your fellow journalists as being in bed w/legislators so you can portray yourself as the only one readers can trust to tell them the truth.

100% incorrect. It’s in my best interest, my kids’ best interest that I contribute to good policy being passed in the state. I’m extremely picky on who I take as clients.
December 19, 2024 at 5:29 PM
Yes, & as a lobbyist it’s my job to give an abundance of information so people can make the most informed decision.

It’s not going unnoticed that you continue to redirect the attention instead of denying that you deliberately withheld all the info so you could spin it to fit your purpose.
December 19, 2024 at 3:09 PM
Don’t ya think it’s a tad hypocritical for you to be writing articles about the legislature being dishonest while you’re so blatantly being dishonest by omission so you can create a misleading perception of Take2?

You do you, I suppose.
December 19, 2024 at 5:46 AM
Are you referring to Take2? If so, that’s a pretty big reach. He’s been on a handful of times, as have other prominent political figures in the state. And just saying “lobbyist”…come on. Give all the details on who you’re talking about but I guess that’d remove the boogeyman aspect of it
