'21 to '23 was a tough time to build things. Supply shortages (remember the GIB crisis), and especially skilled labour shortages.
Construction sector was at capacity. Maybe they bought more than they could chew.

Bus lanes exist so that busses (efficient), don't get stuck in general traffic (inefficient).

Letting traffic into the bus lanes when there is congestion is a singularly stupid idea.

I use a combo of frame lock and Kryptonite D-lock.

Frame lock is great for when you are popping into a shop for a few minutes. Basically an immobiliser and doesn't require a rack to clamp to.

I use the D-lock when leaving the bike for longer periods or where I can't see it.
