If the Democrats had been actively opposing this madness from DAY 1, you would not have been in this position. You are complicit in this horrorshow and have allowed the repubs to shut you down. Your "yes" vote is evidence that the Dems stopped fighting for us a long time ago and, now, just give in.

It is already a disaster! This budget is HORRIBLE and not worth supporting. Republicans have NO problem shutting the government down and have done so on multiple occasions. Dems need to stand up and stop all this nonsense. First step...Vote NO on this republican budget!!!!!!

The focus should be stopping the unelected takeover and these confirmations of the unskilled. What else could Dems possibly be working on right now?..., unless they are working to keep their corporate donors happy and not caring are the people who voted for them.

I've called your office and spoken to staffers. I've emailed you. Talking is not doing. It seems the Dems are complicit and functioning as corporatists not representatives of those who voted for them.

Not true. There are multiple procedural rules that can be used to stop what is happening. Repubs use them all the time to shut Congress down when they are in the minority and it works.

But, what are Dems actually DOING? A coup is in progress and all I've seen are social media posts and news conferences. Why are repubs able to shut congress down when they are the minority but dems are too paralyzed to use the available procedures to stop this madness? ACT! ACT! ACT!

It isn't weird for them. They wanted a "daddy" who would rock them to sleep and run over the world to make things like they were in the 1950s...a "daddy" who makes them feel right and privileged.
