If the minimum wage is £22,308 a yr, why does the govt expect a pensioner to live on £11,531? You can judge country on how it treats it's elderly.
Elderly are struggling to eat & 25% live in poverty.

This is shocking do people not deserve help for this? Compared to the cost of care it’s cheaper for medication for sure

What a bitter blow for those poor families struggling with Alzheimers (I've been there). And of course, at £20k a yr, the rich patients will be stocking up.
