I've seen people taping it to cardstock or various methods to print directly on fabric. So it won't wash out, it will just be covered by the embroidery? That is the main problem with most transfer methods is the washing out or removing afterwards. I might try the carbon paper

Yes, I made some already and dyed it but I was trying to get it finer and more consistent and make more colors, so we will see how this batch turns out!

That's one thing ai can't do, it cannot make a tangible object. It can't make an oil painting with brush strokes or wheel thrown ceramics. Or embroidery. Not yet anyway.

Also research I did said crewel wool was typically made from long staple breeds like merino so I thought the rambouillet would work well, and it does. Plus I just love rambouillet!

I started doing crewel work using dmc eco vita thread, which is a two ply wool embroidery thread, so I was trying to make something like that, same thickness more or less. So I'm going to do 2 ply.
