That's really sad. ICE and CBP are committing their atrocities by choice. The NG folks were put in an impossible situation and now she has died for it.

It will make me feel better! I love watching him melt down every time he gets challenged. And I think people need to see every single one of his tantrums.

It's not gonna work. Enough people were willing to give him another chance because they had pre-Covid economic goggles on, but once that well of patience runs dry there's no getting it back. He's reminding too many people of how much he sucked, and the MAGA die-hards are noisy but dwindling.

I anticipate the toughness of their questions will increase in direct proportion to the decline in his approval rating.

That’s exactly why I couldn’t bring myself to get outraged over the new Pentagon press access rules. Instead of sitting around playing stenographer, they should be out there actually investigating.

Why should he? No one ever pushes back on him or tells him what he is doing his inappropriate. I was pleasantly surprised by all the tough(ish) questions he faced today. He clearly couldn’t handle it because he was melting down all over the place.

I hate that I was forced to root for him. I will never forget that smug, sanctimonious expression on his face when he leapfrogged his own chain of command to excoriate Clinton for her "recklessness." All because he was afraid the Giuliani ghouls at DOJ would be mean to him.

I guarantee you that if she were a man this would not have even been surfaced as an issue. The whole "appearance of impropriety" nonsense was basically about her supposedly funneling work to her boyfriend so he could take her to the Bahamas or wherever. As if she couldn't have taken herself?

Tricia McLaughlin is an even more shameless liar than Karoline Leavitt. Beyond that, though, it's astounding to me how many Americans believe every immigrant is "illegal" - even if they have a pending asylum claim, are here on TPS, are admitted under some other refugee program, or whatever.
