I’m a Purdue alum, so I have to root against ND. But this is like the two worst possible teams outside Indiana being in it. Also a cowboys fan looking at the Eagles and Commanders. Why do I do this to myself?

The number of people I’ve seen things like Macrofactor help to understand what food is and how it isn’t scary has been remarkable. Just kind of knowing “man this donut is pretty bad but I’m going to crush my protein and fat targets anyway” goes such a long way.

Andor season 1 is possibly my favorite show of the last 10 years and beyond everything else, getting to spend 12 episodes with those characters was important. The whole prison arc needed 3 episodes and those episodes would have been chopped in a 8 or 6 episode run.

Outside of France, every single country I visited while living in Europe vastly preferred to speak in English than listen to me or my family butcher their language. Same with France but they were just snobby about it, deservedly so.

It feels a lot like when Twitter hit its initial explosion in 2009/10 where it was a lot of engagement but required a lot of work to filter. It did get better though so I imagine the annoyance will go away eventually and not having to worry about bots is nice.

I hate binging shows so not only does it make me less likely to watch it promptly, it makes it less likely for me to even start it. I like the pacing that comes from weekly releases, with an exception for “first two episodes” week 1 or little gimmicks like that.
