It's so sad to see how trans people's lives are already difficult, then their lives are made harder by activists who manipulate them to increase their own power.

What's it called when the only sides we can take are either "transgenderism is fake" or "trans activists are always right"? Politics.

To go out with a bang: Trans activism is harmful to the trans community as a whole. (I say this as a cis person, which means I'm wrong.) Will they fight for what's best for their community or will they sell their fellow trans people out to get more donations? Hint: People are horrible to each other.

Bluesky is a good place to go if you want to see furry porn alongside political takes that basically boil down to "The Democratic Party will automatically make everything better for weird people like myself as long as we don't criticize them, which is proven by the fact that Republicans are worse."

I think it's naive to assume that merely paying attention to politics is going to make things better. What I've seen is that politics on social media has little to do with actual positive change, and is more about making people angry at each other for the sole purpose of driving up engagement.

This sort of person must have great difficulties in the regular world. "That person looked at me funny and I can't make them disappear! Why is life so hard??"

I'm so relieved it wasn't 2000 BC.

People who say "You shouldn't use Adblock because websites depend on ad revenue" might as well say "You should be punching yourself in the face when you visit a site, otherwise you're stealing."

Strange how newspaper comics used to be culturally relevant.

I like how the earlier pairings look like names themselves. Ronald George. Jimmy Walter. Gerald Nelson. Richard Spiro. Lyndon Hubert. John Lyndon.

A past qualification for Vice Presidents must have been for them to have first names that sound like last names.

Sometimes it was creative but it was mostly just the same battle over and over. "Shields at 13%! We're all definitely going to die... wait, unless we somehow pull off an impossible maneuver we just came up with, for the hundredth time!"
