Interests in the environment, social justice animal welfare. Ex-Labour activist with a new home with the Greens. Keen gardener and walker. Lifetime of pain at Villa park! Retired HMI probation Inspector.
If pro Palestinian supporters defended and fought back this would be portrayed as anti semitism. These scenes are like something out of Nazis Germany in the 30s. As you say utter scum.

Better late than never I suppose! Wonder if Starmer & co will join them? I doubt it as it would mean admitting their criticism of Israel = antisemitism policy was wrong and reinstate expelled members.

Although the BBC may well have contributed to the rise of the far right the real villains are Labour who have failed to address the scapegoating of vulnerable groups and their siding with with the rich since returning to government gives further oxygen to the far right.

Along with all others western 'leader' who have supported Israel's Genocide.

No matter how much, for religious or political reasons, you've supported Israel I can't for the life of me understanding how you can continue to support their barbaric actions in Gaza. Surely some of the IDF troops who have seen what they have done can't be so hard and callus not 2 B effected.

Maybe it will be the win that stops the rot! The question is for which team? Given the previous results I won't be holding my breath 😧

To act as a second 11 to give the ruling class a "safe" alternative when their first team the Tories have messed up! They also sow political disillusion of the "left" among the working class.
