Thoughts over the #AUSvNZL window:
- Gorry looks back and we're better for it
- Hunt and Heatley still a toss up as the CB partner for Catley
- Similar for Nevin v Torpey
- Johnson, Rule certain, pending injuries, to not make the 23.
- McNamara and Heyman could be fighting for final spot.

Interesting first half.
- Don't think a midfield pairing of Kennedy and Wheeler works, don't complement well.
- Kerr seems way off the pace. Lasting effect of the ACL or just match fitness?
- Torpey doing enough for starting role at LB.

Bringing Rule all the way out for at most a second half cameo is a disgrace.
Kennedy in the midfield I don't mind as I see her playing that role under Joe more than a centre back.

Can't help feel a little 'what if' about Indiah-Paige Riley with her performance so far. Sure she wouldn't be a starter in front of Raso atm, but could have been very handy as a #Matildas squad player.
Don't blame her for switching to NZ though. Completely understandable.

Looks like a 4-2-3-1 for the #Matildas with Sayer on the left wing, Foord up front. EVE in a floating 10 role in front of KCC and Gorry
May be not the biggest fan of EVE but credit to Joe for putting her in her best position and role in what could be a final audition for her for the squad
