The Kirk's decision is a disgrace. I filmed a documentary about Gibbon's Sunset Song there once. His descriptions of the interior are wonderful: '... with three bit creatures of queans, not very decent-like in a kirk, as window pictures.' This is a historic and cultural site not to be flogged off.

Elsbeth contributed to a number of our documentaries at Caledonia TV. She was erudite, inspiring, and had a wickedly dry sense of humour. Our hearts go out to her much loved partner, Michael.
