Dumped like $15 into open AI credits so I could use it as a good OCR method just to find out they lock the image models behind what they call a protective measure which is basically uploading your ID, no thanks

Oh apparently, VOCR uses ChatGPT now? Either that or maybe I wasn’t paying attention.
Would people familiar with OCR and AI be able to help me out, does ChatGPT have limit if you pay for a pro or can I self host something?

OK, so interestingly enough the other night I randomly found out the screen reader from what I saw at least partially works in desktop mode, which is crazy

To be completely honest, I’m unbelievably thankful. We even got something to begin with so if it stops at a system level, I mean it’s better than nothing and better than we had before so it is what it is, but if we can get more features added, I would greatly appreciate it.

A example I could give where a native Windows game has a screen reader would be Diablo and Forza horizon, both have working in gaming screen readers, but on deck, they do not work what I mean is I hope that maybe there could be a way to hook in the screen reader to work With those games under proton
