Over the weekend, federal agents were sent to Chicago and raided people's homes, rounded up children, and separated families. This is not how we keep our cities safe. CTAN condemns these actions and calls on Congress to do everything in their power to stop the militarization of our communities NOW.

The plan reportedly targets unaccompanied children aged 14 and older in U.S. custody. These are children who came to the U.S. alone or were separated by the U.S. government from their caregiver.
