Before long the Warriors will field an entire roster under 6'4"!

The players aren't at fault, but the team should still be in Seattle...
December 5, 2025 at 6:24 AM
It's a roster construction issue. The Warriors are a junior-college-sized team playing against giant NBA squads.

Hah! I wonder which way Tim Kaine will vote on it???

IMHO it's a race between Trey Young, Ja Morant, or Julius Randle. But I am only picking on stars, not minor players...

You don't shop here, apparently. A standard loaf of bread was $4 in 2020 at our local stores. Now, it's $8. Sandwich meat packages made the exact same jump ($4 to $8). Cookies were $3 and now run $5 to $6 (Nabisco). Potato chips were $3 and are now typically $6 for a smaller bag.

And that streaming issue is reducing the fanbase significantly. The Warriors season opener wasn't shown locally, which is one of the dumbest media moves in sports history.

My neighbor in this city has an EV, but no garage nor driveway. It works for him because he only has to charge it every couple of weeks, so it is as convenient as an ICE car. And solar power in California has saved our electrical grid, despite a huge increase in consumption.

I don't understand government grocery figures. The price of bread here has doubled since 2020. Sandwich meats, too. Most groceries, in fact. What's this 6% a year crap that the press uses??

These two leaders executed a shutdown for a month and conceded in the end---getting bupkis. They must be replaced.

Don't go blaming us progressives for their inability to make good plans.
December 4, 2025 at 3:24 PM
You are right. Both Jeffries and Schumer need to be removed from their posts.

They have failed all of us (remember the shutdown fiasco?).

New, more assertive leadership is needed now!

You mention things that make California more admirable. Abortion availability is important to women. Health care is important to everyone. Homelessness has been reduced in the major cities. Drug use has been around for 50 years, and crime is down.

Your posts are all right-wing falsehoods.
December 3, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Since they stick to the speed limits, getting somewhere quickly is not playing to their strengths...
December 3, 2025 at 8:15 PM
I don't think that is what "people" are seeking. But this Warriors team is shorter than many college teams, so they do need at least one true 7footer to stop those drives to the basket. Post is playing well, but he's not beefy enough nor athletic enough to play that role ..
December 3, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Kangham, you are totally right. Who knows how much endurance Seth Curry had? Poor Kerr was stuck with basically a G league- Ievel roster, and he managed to make a game of it. He played everyone (except Santos) because he had no choice.

The Warriors roster is a mess.
December 3, 2025 at 6:41 PM
I've made poorly-timed comments myself. Pat Spencer did have an outstanding game for a decimated roster.

How long can Mike Dunleavy Jr hang on to his job? Roster construction is the biggest issue with the Dubs this season... can he do a course-correction trade for this way-too-short team?
December 3, 2025 at 8:00 AM
Kuminga had gone to the locker room. Probably hurt. Don't know the story about Moody...
December 3, 2025 at 7:04 AM
Maybe JK can get some rhythm in his offensive game, since the Warriors will need it so badly. OTOH, he may be put on SGA, so nothing will go right for him?

Seems I'm likely leaving Chase in the 3rd quarter tonight or maybe the beginning of the 4th....
December 2, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Yeah, Jackson just doesn't play big enough. At least LJ can shoot and he's really quick. Oddly, LJ is too similar to Seth, and they really need someone of size.

The Santa Cruz Warriors are 0-9, but LJ is their best player...
December 2, 2025 at 6:31 AM
They need a stopper so badly. Horford can do some of that, but not enough and no rim protection...
November 30, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Saw some whining here about the fans at the Dubs game. Not what I experienced last night. The fan energy was great (despite the horrible shooting), and they escalated the excitement in the closing minutes. Just as good a crowd as ever (including Oaktown). No one left before 50 seconds left.
November 30, 2025 at 6:46 PM
The offense for both teams was really bad, as they shot below 20% from 3 most of the game. Just bad shooting not due to good defense.
November 30, 2025 at 6:41 PM
I remember a fan asking why they were boo-ing Looney when he took the court.

I think the Ws will win, mostly because the Pelicans are a mess. However, how well can Dray slow down Zion? Dray has been outstanding, but Zion has nice range inside the 3pt arc...
November 29, 2025 at 9:39 PM
I watched a replay of the game, and Steph was noticeably limping most of the 4th qtr. The Warriors were defending 5 with 4 players that stretch. If Podz could hit a free throw, they might have won it.
November 29, 2025 at 4:42 AM
So you are suggesting that Podz badly missed those free throws because he shouldn't have been playing?

If yes, that is certainly possible.

And are the Warriors in deep trouble?
(Maybe, but not necessarily. The bench played well in Miami.. )
