This is how democracy looks like: On No Kings Day on Oct. 18 an estimated 6.8 to 7 M citizens across all 50 U.S. states showed up, one of the largest coordinated protest events in modern U.S. history. Hartford,CT, saw some 12,000 protesters. The movement is growing, the intimidation attempts failed.

On International Workers’ Day, thousands across the country - including in Hartford, CT, - joined sweeping protests against the Trump administration. Labor unions, immigrant rights groups, and community organizations defended workers’ rights, public services, and marginalized communities.
